What's Occurring at Thorne Summer Festival Pt1
So a few weeks ago I was asked by Joanne Huckett of Thorne Commitee also Tea Leaf Reader to attend the Thorne Summer Festival in Thorne Park and maybe capture a few photos of the day on Sunday 31st July.
Of course I agreed, I love taking photos especially candid photos, naturally showing people having fun and enjoying the day and the getting involved with the community.
There were many stalls there doing tombola and raffles, offering tea leaf reading, Henna tattoos, food stalls, jewelery stalls, antique stalls, plus many more stalls. Pony riding was also among many activities taking place over the weekend, along with mini golf and bumpy slide.
If that weren't enough to keep your little ones happy, there was always the Bungee Trampolines and Tuby's Funfair to entertain and occupy those thrill seekers.
Throughout the day the weather held up pretty well the sun was shining everyone was having a fantastic time, there was plenty to do for everyone, there was definately no chance your little one would be fed up or bored.
Even the stall holders enjoyed the day sharing jokes and nattering among each other.
If after all the fun up so far from the day, there were plenty of places to refuel your little ones and the big ones ready for the rest of the festivities. Whether it be Candy floss, Burgers, chips, Ice cream, Donuts there were plenty of places to grab a snack.
Some of the community who came to the Festival even brought their own picnic, there were plenty of areas around the park where you could relax and chill.
Maybe during and after the re-fueling, you could relax and watch some shows performed by Bodyrockers Dance School, Irish Dancers and maybe listen to a bit of live music.
